K-1 Sports Academy is a youth sports program sponsored by Knowledge-First, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization empowering youth to meet today's educational and social demands for the systematic challenges of tomorrow. Our mission is to help youth develop life skills through sports participation at the basic level to improve over all fitness and team work while increasing knowledge of the sport. This program enhances youth's ability to increase sportsmanship, self confidence, attitudes and behavior in their homes, schools and communities at large. Our programs allow players the unique experience to learn from coaches, current and former pro players. They get right in the huddle with our players to teach them offensive and defensive techniques. The players will learn and develop their skills from those who know the game best. Players are grouped by age from 4-16 to ensure they receive proper training while allowing them to be progressively taught the basics and techniques to best fit each group. This system allows not only for proper match up but also for players to be challenged and provided with a better learning environment. Without proper sized groups, players are not matched up properly where they will experience frustration, failure, and loss of confidence. We strive to make the difference. Our staff will ensure each player has an enormous amount of encouragement and enthusiasm to expand his level of confidence and strength. Our philosophy is to let them have fun while learning a lot about sports in a positive manner. They are taught how to attain their potential in sports and life through teamwork, consideration of others, and self-discipline. We encourage all of our participants to go home a more positive and optimistic person. Participants also learn the importance of achieving good grades along with selecting correct and positive role models. They will return home, to their communities and most importantly to their teams a better team player. Success is our Goal Recent Announcements
